Are You Making Progress? | Hebrews 6:1–8 | Hold Fast
Can someone experience God’s blessings, participate in church life, and still not genuinely belong to Christ? Can a true Christian lose their salvation? And how can we know whether our faith is genuine?
In Hebrews 6:1–8, we’re challenged to move beyond spiritual laziness toward maturity, warned about the danger of turning away from Christ, and shown how genuine faith produces lasting fruit.
Through the illustrations of fruitful and unfruitful soil, Jesus’ parable of the soils, and the wise and foolish builders, we’ll discover that hearing God’s Word isn’t enough. Genuine faith responds with understanding, obedience, and fruitfulness.
Bottom Line: God’s grace calls us to grow toward maturity, hold fast to Christ, and bear the fruit of genuine faith.
