South Carolina Lowcountry

Our church family has prepared homeless backpacks filled with items of need for distribution this past winter and we will be doing this again in 2023. If you would like a couple of these backpacks to put in your car and give to those in need when the opportunity arises, please let us know.

Several members of our church family volunteer at various ministries during the year, including Connie Maxwell Children’s Home in Orangeburg SC, Water Mission in North Charleston, and Lowcountry Pregnancy Center in North Charleston.

Mission Charleston (mChuck)

Mission Charleston (mChuck) 2009-2023 - Ministry partnership with other churches and youth groups to love the SC low country through many different projects touching all ages. Examples include VBS at local apartments; Dorchester County Senior Center; Ashley Ridge High School horticulture, Royal Oaks retirement home; My Sister's House; Low Country Food Bank; Seacoast DreamCenter; Low Country Pregnancy Center; Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Orangeburg; Water Mission; Eagle Harbor Boys Ranch; school summer reading clubs; Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Over the past few years, we have had churches from SC, NC, FL, and the country of Curacao serve together for a week in June.

Summers 2020-23 were done in June/July on a limited scale. Praying and looking forward to summer 2024. mChuck24 dates TBA.
